Chelsea striker Diego Costa has told Football Focus he knows he is "no angel" on the pitch and he will not change his combative style of football. Costa has twice been banned for three games this year - after stamping on Liverpool's Emre Can and for a clash with Arsenal's Laurent Koscielny.

Lamar Odom Reportedly Undergoes Surgeries, Is in 'Fragile Mental State'

Lamar underwent surgery on Thursday, according to E! News. No news yet on the surgery but , however TMZ reports that the procedure was related to "chest issues." It's unclear if the issues were related to his heart or his lungs. Odom may still be facing an additional operation.The former NBA star was airlifted to Los Angeles on Monday to continue his recovery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after spending a week at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas.
REDS REUNITE AT OLD TRAFFORD FOR UNICEF
A host of Manchester United greats, including Ryan Giggs, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Paul Scholes, will join David Beckham and Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford next month for the 'Match for Children' in aid of UNICEF. Beckham will captain a Great Britain and Ireland team, managed by Sir Alex, to take on a Rest of the World XI, led by Zinedine Zidane and managed by Carlo Ancelotti. United fans will be particularly excited to see club legends like Giggs, Solskjaer, Scholes, Rio Ferdinand, Nicky Butt, Edwin van der Sar, Andy Cole and Dwight Yorke back in action, alongside Beckham. And some of the best players to have graced the game, from European Champions to World Cup winners, including Fabio Cannavaro, Patrick Vieira, Cafu, Luis Figo and Ronaldinho, will also be involved in the game on 14 November.
The Nigeria Burkina Faso Match Shifted to Saturday - NFF
The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, has announced that the 2016 African Nations Championship final round, first leg qualifier between the Home based Senior National Team, Super Eagles B, and the Etalons of Burkina Faso, will now take place on Saturday. The NFF reported on its website that the venue remains the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt, with kick–off scheduled for 4pm. No reason was given for the new date of the match which had earlier been fixed for Sunday. That Naija for you, we should know the reasons. We have the right to, or so i think.

The Name Fanendo Adi might be new to many of us. He is Nigerian, He scored twice for his Club side Portland Timbers in his last game against the MLS champions LA Galaxy. He is 25 years old and he's loved greatly by the fans. Adi has been the main force behind Timbers attack this season. He leads Portland with an MLS club record 15 goals and has recorded five goals in the last four games to help the Timbers (14-11-8, 50 points) earn three critical wins. Johan Cruyff diagnosed with lungs cancer
Johan Cruyff is not a player of this generation but have seen few highlights from way back and i think he's very good. He's one of Europe's finest footballers of all time. He won three consecutive European Cups with Ajax and helped Netherlands reach the 1974 World Cup final, he is diagnosed with lungs cancer, has been undergoing medical tests at a hospital in Barcelona. The examinations are still ongoing. He did an operation in the past also, he was a smoker. I pray he gets better.

Sunday Oliseh sseems to be skocked by Emmanuel Emenike's decision to retire from the Super Eagles.
He announced that this week, Sunday said he tried to call Him immediately but he couldn't get through.
Words has been spreading on the cap that he will be bench because he has not scored for the country in about two years. Sunday has just been appointed for 3 months and two first team players retires. i hope he is not the our Moyes o. Though am not seeing the fault on you and i think you shouldnt be blamed for that.Emenike has scored just 9 goals for Nigeria in 37 games. Hmmm(nothing o).

Renault to take upgraded engine at the United States Grand Prix
Red Bull and Toro Rosso will have an upgraded Renault engine available for Sunday's United States Grand Prix. Renault say the changes which concern the internal combustion engine will improve "power and efficiency". However, both teams will have to accept grid penalties if they want to upgrade in Austin, as they have already exceeded the season's allocation. It is unclear whether Red Bull will use a Renault engine next season after a recent breakdown of their relationship.
Red Bull have been heavily critical of the French company over the past two years as it failed to produce an engine to keep up with Mercedes and Ferrari under F1's new turbo hybrid rules.
A split has yet to be finalized, but it would leave Red Bull without a confirmed engine partner for 2016.

Paris Saint-Germain defender Thiago Silva knows his side must work hard to try and contain Cristiano Ronaldo. The election to decide Sepp Blatter's successor as FIFA president will go ahead on February 26, 2016 -- soccer's global governing body has confirmed. After Blatter and UEFA president Michel Platini were both provisionally banned for 90 days by FIFA's Ethics Committee in the wake of a Swiss criminal investigation, it had been suggested the election could be delayed. However, FIFA's Executive Committee confirmed following a meeting Tuesday that there has been no change to the plan.

Jamie Murray will end his doubles partnership with John Peers at the end of the season. Murray, 29, and Australian Peers, 27, have won titles in Brisbane and Hamburg this year and were also runners-up at Wimbledon and the US Open. Their three-year partnership will end after the World Tour Finals in London in November. Soares, 33, is a former doubles world number three. Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone says Sepp Blatter should remain in charge of Fifa despite facing corruption charges. Blatter, who is suspended, is under criminal investigation over a payment made to Uefa boss Michel Platini in 2011. Both men deny any wrongdoing.
Ecclestone said: "I don't think he should have ever stepped down. I don't think he should have been challenged.
"If people allegedly have been corrupted to make things happen in their country, it's good."

Basketball : Lamar Odom Is "Still very sick", Despite Move to New Hospital
Not out of the woods yet. Lamar Odom’s condition has significantly improved since he was found unconscious a week ago in a Las Vegas brothel. But the former NBA star, 35, still has quite a ways to go before he has fully recovered. Odom has been transferred to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles to continue his rehabilitation, but it will be a slow process, a source close to the situation tells Us Weekly.
“He’s still really, really sick,” the source tells Us. “There are a million things they’re doing to him still. He’s not doing well. He’s talking a little bit, but not full sentences.”
